We Need Your Help

Here's the scoop. Bank Of America told us in January of 2010 that they were foreclosing (again.) The sale date was Feb 2. This time we thought they were actually serious. We moved out . Bank Of America pulled the house from the sale. Months went by. The called me frequently until one day I flat out told them to bug off and leave me alone that I no longer lived in the house and didn't want to continue to try to "save the property". They haven't contacted us since, at least by phone. We have been told many things when we asked about short sale. First, they said no because the home is vacant then they said no because it wasn't in foreclosure at the time AND it was vacant.

Most months we receive nothing from them. We have on occasion gotten papers via certified mail from stating they were foreclosing. The very next month or even the week after the certified papers come, we get a monthly statement. Once, we got the certified papers the same day as a regular monthly statement (which doesn't even come on a regular basis) When we see this kind of thing happen it serves as a sign to us that they don't have their stuff together. We usually know they are trying to foreclose again because we get tons of junk mail from attorneys trying to get us to use them to avoid foreclosure.

I have called on the day of the sale to find out if the house sold or not, only to be told it was pulled from the sale. We have never been sent anything by them to let us know the house has actually been sold at auction. We haven't gotten anything to notify us of any court dates either.

We have applied for their "plans" but have not qualified. We are finding out through sharing our story that many people in fact, MOST people didn't qualify. We no longer want the property. After 2 years of sitting I am certain it is near if not completely unable to be lived in. We pay someone to mow the property when the city gets irritated but we never go over there. It makes me physically ill to even get near The Colony. I appreciate your reply . I would be interested in anything any of you might be able to do to help us get out from under the property or any information you might be able to discover. We can't find a reason it hasn't been foreclosed yet. We have not made a payment in nearly 3 years.

Thank you,

This very nice beach is 1 mile from the house. I also posted a picture of Zach just hanging out learning to play guitar earlier this summer.

UPDATE:
We went back to the ER this morning for uncontrolled pain. The urologist came down and saw him, changed the antibiotic and changed the pain medicine. We go Wednesday for the urologist to look at him again.

Hello all,

This is going to be a long post. Many things have happened in our lives since I last posted. In January we moved to a new city due to an impending foreclosure. We were twenty four hours from the sale of the house when we moved. We found out after the auction that our home had been pulled from the sale. We found a new place to live, got our son in a new school and had begun to start over. The home has not been foreclosed as of today. The home will be auctioned off on September 7th.

Our son completed the seventh grade at his new school with NO bullying. He seems much happier at the new school. The school year has started off well for him this year. He enjoys the beach near our home. He will celebrate his 14th birthday on September 27th. Health wise he has been doing well. We have only had one trip to the ER for asthma related issues. I was called at work in February by the school nurse. She told me she was going to call an ambulance for him. He had bronchitis. Just recently he had poison ivy. He went out in the woods with a friend and got into it.

My husband is on the search for a new job to replace his current job. Things have been difficult financially. My parents have said they will pay for me to change careers. I need to find a career that I can learn quickly. Currently I am a Lead Teacher in an infant room. The amount of money paid by daycare centers in less than many people know. If anyone has any ideas on career options please let me know.

Zachary was in the ER last night due to a serious infection. He was allowed to come home as long as he stays on bed rest. He has Epididymitis and Orchitis. His is caused by a bacterial infection.

Picture only post coming tomorrow.

Zach Broke it..

This is the journal post I copied from my son's Caringbridge Please read his journal for more information

Saturday, November 28, 2009 9:40 PM, CST
Zachary fell today rollerblading and broke his tailbone. He is in bed now resting. The ER doctor x-rayed him and confirmed the fracture. He will take about 6 weeks to recover. We have a script for pain meds and he will be using the "A*s Gasket" we purchased to relieve pressure. He also has been referred to an orthopedist.

Thank You,
Paula

P.S. Over the holiday break we found out more information on the bullying incident and will have to take things a step further after school begins on Monday. Continue to pray for wisdom and discernment on this matter. We want to do what is best for Zach and will be looking into other educational options.
